Terms and conditions

The short version: quotes are free, we never do work you haven’t agreed to, very dirty bikes need a wash first, and collection is charged even if you decide not to go ahead.

1. Bookings

  • Booking online is a request. It’s confirmed only when we reply.
  • We pick one of the times you give us. If none work, we suggest another.
  • We can’t book within 2 working days. Weekend slots cost an extra £10.

2. Quotes

  • Quotes are free. We check your bike and tell you the price before starting.
  • We never do work you haven’t agreed to. If we find something else, we ask first.
  • Prices shown as “from” are labour only. The final price depends on the bike and parts.

3. Collection & drop-off

  • Drop-off is free.
  • Collection & return: up to 5 miles £10, up to 15 miles £20, measured from our base.
  • The collection fee is payable even if you decide not to go ahead after the quote.

4. Cancelling

  • Cancel for free up to 24 hours before your collection or drop-off time.
  • After that, or if no one is home at collection, the collection & delivery fee is charged.

5. Paying

  • Pay when your bike is returned or picked up, by [card / bank transfer / cash].
  • Parts are charged at [cost / the price we quote] and agreed with you first.
  • Nothing is paid online when you book.

6. Dirty bikes

  • We can’t service a very dirty or muddy bike properly.
  • If yours needs cleaning first, we’ll tell you and add a wash (£10) before we start, only with your OK.

7. Parts you supply

  • We’re happy to fit parts you provide, but we can’t guarantee the parts themselves.
  • If they don’t fit or are faulty, we charge for the time already spent.

8. Our guarantee

  • Our labour is guaranteed for [30 days]. If something we adjusted slips, we put it right free.
  • This doesn’t cover crashes, wear and tear, or work by someone else since.

9. Your bike with us

  • We look after your bike as if it were our own. [Add insurance details.]
  • Please remove lights, computers, bags and other accessories before collection.

10. Uncollected bikes

  • For drop-offs, please collect within [14 days] of us telling you it’s ready.
  • After that we may charge [£X per week] for storage.

11. Your details

  • We use your name, email, phone and address only to handle your booking.
